Rotary die cutting use a sheet and web-like material. The rotary die cutting machines press roller-shaped cutting dies against a web-like object. Web materials then are put into these rotating roller dies and then they are transformed into the final shapes the consumer or distributor needs. Rotary die cutting machines will also use perforated dies or specially designed blades which can form perforations on paper goods at light speed.

The process of controlling the rpm's of the cutting speed of the rotary die cutting machine is controlled by an electronic inverter. This process is usually used for a large number of same shape objects. The die cut shapes are most of the time called blanks in the industry. Colvin-Friedman offers these and many more quality services.
